Visit Interactive Aquarium of Cancun

Let’s begin with an enjoyable indoor activity for the kids. The aquarium is located inside La Isla shopping village. 

It displays over 1,000 marine and freshwater animals from 140 species. Young kids get to interact with starfish, sea cucumbers, and sea urchins at several touch tanks within the aquarium.

Other activities associated with the aquarium include swimming with dolphins and feeding sharks. Kids can also get to touch the beautiful sea turtles or sleek manta rays that live in a large tank.



Explore All Ritmo Water Park

At the park, you can enjoy water slides as a family. 

There are slides and water-based activities for people of all ages. You can also relax on the many lounge chairs provided around the park and enjoy unlimited food and drinks.



Get Wet and Wild at Ventura Park

It is the only adventure park in the hotel zone and offer activities for everyone. 

Ventura Park is made up of six entirely different worlds all on the same ground. 

These include dolphinaris, underworld, Grand Prix, fun world, Aaahventura, and wet ‘n wild. It is home to the only major water slide attraction in the region. 

Kids can zipline, swim with dolphins, go-cart, ride a roller-coaster, and many more. 

Note, the park is open every day from 10 in the morning to 5:30 in the evening.



Ride ATVs Jeep Adventure

 This is a great outdoor activity that involves a jeep tour in the jungles outside Cancun. Quite a few companies and agencies facilitate this experience. 

Depending on your choice of agency, you may be taken on different excursions. Some of these adventures  include cenotes, caverns, and natural canopies. 



Dolphin Discovery

Dolphins are the sweetest sea creatures that get even an adult excited. 

The VIP experience by dolphins discovery includes encounters with dolphins, sea lions, and manatees as well as access to the VIP lounge. Throughout the day, you can swim with dolphins, watch sea lions play, and feed a manatee their lunch.

Explore the Xcaret Park

This is an archeological park and is one of the most kid-friendly places in Cancun Mexico.

It boasts over 40 different attractions and is a great place to explore. Here you can visit the ruins, swim in the rivers, see animals like jaguars, flamingoes, and manatees. 

There is a special area for kids called children's world where kids can enjoy the pool and the water rides. 



Visit the Croco cun Zoo

This is an interactive conservation zoo which started initially as a crocodile breeding farm but changed its agenda to protecting and promoting them. There are plenty of crocodiles to see but the zoo offers a great variety of animals to see and some to interact with.

You will have the opportunity to hold baby crocs and snakes, feed deers, pet Mexican hairless dogs, watch monkeys swing from trees above, and walk through a crocodile enclosure.



Visit Isla Mujeres

Isla Mujeres is a beautiful and popular island just 8 miles off the coast of Cancun. 

This makes it easy for a day trip with a quick ferry boat ride from the zone or other locations. Translation, less chances of cranky kids.

Once you arrive, there are plenty of shopping areas, restaurants, historical sites, water sports and places to relax by the Caribbean Sea.
